    Moly,

First of all, what is 'hot rock'?? Our little geo team regarded as 'hot' any uranium sample assaying or likely to assay over 0.25% U3O8. Other geos have their own definitions, but those were ours. Now we know that THR have found uranium samples at Daicos assaying up to 19% U3O8; --that IS IS "hot". But it is only a matter of training personnel and being careful in preparing and assaying the samples. Really there is little of no risk. I personally brought home samples from Daicos [in addition to the 750 samples that we sentto our Perth lab] ,and the other 2 areas and assayed them in my own lab/ workshop. But I took great care and knew what I was doing. The assays are wonderful by the way. As evidenceof no damage, I offer the fact that I am fitter than many folk half my age.Conix

The writer you quoted was untrained and made a silly guess; it is as simple as that. [But I am sure he is still a very nice chap] Conix
