Was able to clarify with JB:
Mike Kilbride is Chairman of CCC.
Connie is a non-exec of CCC and Chairman of the subsidiary (CCL) in South Africa.
Note that the CCC Board is now majority non-executive [ie. Molusi, Kilbride, Macaulay & Leahy], which should hopefully improve transparency, governance & corporate credibility.
non-executive director
Definition:
Non-working director of a firm who is not an executive director and, therefore, does not participate in the day-to-day management of the firm. He or she is usually involved in planning and policy making, and is sometimes included to lend prestige to the firm due to his or her standing in the community. Non-executive directors are expected to monitor and challenge the performance of the executive directors and the management, and to take a determined stand in the interests of the firm and its stakeholders. They are generally held equally liable as the executive directors under certain statutory requirements such as tax laws. Also called external director, independent director, outside director, or director at large.

Vanmag cash?
Sioc-cdt cash - by 13/3/2012
Botswana results?
Colombia Coking Coal, USA acquisitions?
African Logistics? (Rail/Port allocations SA & Mozambique - as alluded to in Indaba Presentation)
Until these announcements are in, I'm going to reserve judgement on whether the issues of new shares/oppies today was a wise move. In any case the market was already informed of the Masawu & Socius share issues. Clearly CCC want to make sure all spare cash is re-invested into development projects (and I assume - new acquisitions). Let's just hope the Colombian & USA ventures add significant value to shareholders, and not just corporate advisors & consultants.
