Got to disagree on this as a possibility. I think they would go for the Canadian Company who owns a greater share of the drills now. Puntland offshore might be tempting, but I think if they find oil, then COP as you put it would try and get the majority share through buying out that company.

Or maybe even buy into the project/drill.

I think Range would be too geographically diverse to be picked up like this as you put it.

But that is all in my opinion only. And that is all we can have before the facts are out there. Opinions!
