WPL paid the price it was worth at the time.
Other bidders would not pay as much obviously.
Oil was very low at the time of the deal and if you check similar deals at the time they were pretty much ball park with the COP/WPL deal.
If FAR thought is was CHEAP they could have bought it if they had they money which they didn't because they never had a backer.
This other crap about price, well all the info could have been gleaned in the data room which I even doubt FAR even looked through as I have never heard CN said they had.
More excuses.
