I am looking to buy in, but am a little concerned about possible environmental issues, as RIO has experienced in the area recently.
Obviously RIO has the clout to deal with those, but what about the YML minnow?
Any rare microscopic spiders living around YML's deposit?
how about the natives....are we near any sacred streams etc?
This was always a re-occuring issue with MTN as you, conquest will be well aware....
Conquest, have you ticked this box off as well?
OT....If you like moly plays, there's a stock called TTQ.V (Canada) that recently hit 504 Metres of 0.1% moly.....estimated deposit is 800M tons at 0.05% average with 2 x .1% sections of high grade.....(they've hit up to 0.3% in places) looks similar size and grade to GMO's deposit.....(that's 28 Bill worth of Moly!!)
GMO trades at around 400M USD.....TTQ is around 30M CAD (less if you count their cash)....and only 75kms away from Blue Pearl's Moly roaster....one of only two in North America.....prime takeover target.
TCM/Blue Pearl are currently looking at transporting moly 200km from another site, and it's lower grade than TTQ's....and TCM and TTQ have the same guy on both boards.
Similarly undervalued to peers as YML.
If they were bought out at only 50c a pound moly (currently $35 a pound, and $5/10 dollars extraction costs) the market cap would be 400M or, about a 12 bagger.....$1 a pound buyout = 24 bagger.
Worth a punt I think IMHO.
