There is a cost on NBN. 26 BILLION @ 5% = 1.3 Billion pa.
Sorry my interpretation of cost is different to you. The cost to the TAXPAYER does NOT simply include the delivery cost, it includes the revenue factor, benefits factor, and whatever else that gives you a defined cost (or surplus) to the taxpayer. I can live with a raw cost of implementation and delivery that is greater than the revenue as long as there are strong arguable benefits that cannot be achieved in other ways.
But that is not the case with the NBN in my view, and I'd say the view of the government, as they refuse to supply a cost and benefit analysis.
