haha i think its ironic that tls holders bought a dinosaur monopoly (and dog IMO), reaped the obvious reward from this for many years, knowing full well what tls is or was, and then complain when the bleadingly obvious and long overdue finally occurs. The same cries rang out when successive governments deregulated the the airlines, abolished protection in textiles, clothing, footwear, lowered tariffs on imported cars etc etc etc.
Someone called this the act of a socialist government?! Last i checked the whole concept of state sponsored and protected monopolies that are woefully inefficient was pretty popular in socialised economies. This move promotes the free market, if anything (although knowing the govt, they'll probably stuff it up). Who knows, it might even turn this hound dog around? You bought knowing this company faced regulatory risk and you must now grin and bear it. IMO
