the word "natural" is used to summarise this process
when you hear the phrase "it is their nature" it is referring to what has come about over time, as a result of repeated practice - habits and memory
insects do not have to learn a lot of things from scratch, because their energy field has learned it all before.
why does the caterpillar entomb itself?

or does it know exactly what it is doing, and how, and why?
for example, for many children, riding a bike does not come naturally
the more that it is practiced, the more effortless (intuitive) it becomes
practice gives rise to intuition
same goes with tuning in to other 'frequencies' - the more it is practiced, the more familiar it becomes (for better or worse)
