dream can be a natural extension of day-to-day life
if one is full of defilements on a day-to-day basis, then they will naturally follow through - maybe even manifesting as powerful demons, or hell.
if one practices right speech, actions, and mindfullness, then they will also follow with desirable effects - again, beyond one's expectations
possibly not a good idea to make a big deal out of dream interpretation, as that can result in missing the forest for the trees
ones actions, in line with the dhamma, will naturally bring a knowing and understanding that is beyond words and concepts
i think that sometimes this is referred to as an ah ha moment
and nothing more needs to be said
