In an earlier post you said NO to sending overseas. I am all for incentivising young people to join the ADF, but it is best done with a carrot rather than a stick. Conscription would be a huge burden for our ADF.

We could invest far better in our youth by improving school education and lowering tertiary education costs.

I have a son and a daughter in law in the RAN who are coming up to 20 years service - it is a great career for those seeking variety, adventure and a career path.
