When they bought in I thought it a little strange as they love producing assets as you said.
One things for sure though Andrew Jeffries and Ofer are building their presence in Australia. Off the New Zealand stock exchange and domiciled in Australia from tomorrow. Acquired another chunk of Amadeus with Horizon earlier this year and paid a dividend! They have the financial capacity to step up to 50 % if they wanted to.
Not sure what they are planning next but IMO they didn't farm into JV purely to flip it on good results.
