pleased you are reading things GH,all good .You raise a good point about consensus,for myself it is not a particularly good thing ,I have noticed on more than one occasion and I do not mean HC, where people quote the" consensus "as a fait accompli which usually means they have joined one camp or another and stopped thinking critically .

Mind you the carbon tax has gone as has the problem,recent work has shown that sea rise as a result of ice field melt has been grossly exaggerated so much so that the expected rise is now only 7% of what we were told(weapons of mass destruction)
Don't think a lid can be kept on this and other recent work for much longer,interesting times ahead.
Tony Abbot has excellent advisers they even have a few grey hairs.
