There was the small matter of a little ice age in the 1700s you know. When sceptics see this sort of sleight of hand, ie. ignore a little ice age here or a medieval warm period there, as if they didn't exist within an accepted historical framework, many of us recognise that what we are being told (sold)is less than the full truth.
