I believe the market will recover and will not see 2700 as some morons have suggested. It is really only the resources sector that has pushed the overall market down, and it is not unusual at all that there was some kind of a correction, and in fact is a healthy sign that things are going to get better rather than worse.
In fact, if one looks at the overall picture, the correction has been minor, compared to the huge price increases we have seen in the past, and if those holding these stocks are down only 10%, then I don't see what all the fuss is about!
I did post about 2 weeks ago that I sold out of resource based stocks and added that this was only a temporary measure, but I would continue to stay in good quality industrials as many of those stocks in different sectors have remained relatively stable.
I really don't see what all the fusss is about!
