In terms of the downward trend in Gold, I don't think it will last very long.

Governments around the world do not want interest rates higher / higher bond yields otherwise the cost of their debt will result in much larger deficits.

All we have to wait is for The Federal Reserve to put a ceiling on the Bond Yields and wait for inflation to be higher than that which will result in negative real yields, then Gold will rise again (maybe even higher than last year).

I don't when that will happen, but there's a high probability it will happen before June.
