Yes, I was aware that buyback are subject to the same trading restrictions as anyone else with inside info on the market.

I thought it was odd that they had such a long blackout period. If they stop 2.5 months before each half yearly financials, it doesn't leave a lot of time for buying! :) A few weeks and it will be back into 'Buyback Season'.

I guess the moral is, if you want to pick up shares cheaper, do so know whilst we don't have to compete with the company on the market.
