Relax Mate,
Things are not going up straight up or down, it is the name of the game other wise no body makes any money.
It is a healthy profit taking as POG hit $1000 there has to be some people that chicken out and take some profit so everybody should take some profit as the market tell them too and forget about our ego to be right.
One day POG will approach $1000 again but this time there may be some more buyers then sellers and might be more bad news, that is where technical level will be broken and POG will pass $1000 easily, in the meantime LGL may go down further, don't lose your nerve as it will go up again PROBLEMS IN THE US ARE NOT GOING TO GO AWAY THAT QUICKLY AND there are going to be more bad news before they get better.
The same applies to oil there is only so much oil in the world, you can't create oil there will be time when oil will go up over $150 again.
