Today was the 3rd lowest volume result since 3rd June 2002, when 23,309 shares were traded.

More recently, on 24 December, 25,000 shares were traded, and today saw 26,401 shares being traded.

On 24 December 2002, the closing price was 77c.

The volume results of the past week are very similar in characteristic to trading in the week before Christmas. 10 trading days later, the share price closed @115, before climbing to 130, the next day (ie: 13/1).

More recently, 5.0m options were exercised. Of this number 3.75m were converted to shares held by Wilks (1.25m) and Goldsworthy (2.5m). Neither executive Director has sold down on any of their holdings (continuing, or acquired).

The remaining options were exercised by various employees, some of whom may have taken the opportunity to sell on-market.

This may well account for some of the pricing resistance experienced in recent times in the mid-140s range (ie: where several sizeable sellers with 50k+ parcels were slated for exit, or did exit, from SLX).

As for the 1H03 report, this is likely in the 2nd week of March (ie: ~10/3) judging by recent release dates in past years.
