The high pressure systems over the eastern states appear to be temporarily phasing out over the next week. Plenty of low pressure hanging around the in tropics with numerous troughs extending southward. East coast still looks good for more patchy rain periods into the next few days, hopefully this will extend inland, which it looks like it might. WA is another story, looks like it will receive plenty of rain into next week. These look like quite powerful lows, if they make it across the center and into the eastern states, we should get some really good drought breaking rainfall across more than half the country. Watch this space closely, looks like the rain dancers are finally getting results.
