Anyone feel the hair on the backs of their necks bristle? That was the funny feeling you get when another company is running the ruler over you. In this case the measurer was EQN, and they also measured CGG, and look, they have obtained the sweetest deal for over a bit over billion dollars for CGG. I am pretty surprised to not see more action at PNA after that announcement....it tells us the predator action is very very likely and that we'll be (fighting/griping about) a hostile takeover or a friendly merger pretty soon.
