consolidation in the oil industry

    Thought this article was interesting. Talks about how alot of the smaller oil n gas players may become attractive takeover targets or simply no longer be able to operate.

    I guess the ball would be in the court of the larger oil players who know they have the cash and reserves to weather the storm. Minnows on the other hand may be forced to accept sub-premium takeover offers...

    Now I realise MOS has cash on hands, which is one of the reasons we like them. But is a takeover a possibility the way things have developed on the world oil markets?
