I would've thought you'd be in favour of share manipulation. With the price at the absolute bottom, the price can only be manipulated upwards.
Yes, the shares will be more liquid after consolidation because there will be a trading range, and a true market price so that capital can be raised - but it will probably be below the 1c post consolidation price.
