you are correct today Brauninc.. lets judge it in 6 months.. we acknowledged from the start that PoG was in corrective of teh advance and likely to go lower first
if we have a global recession due to rising interest rates and commodities dip.. so will the AUD
its also quite overbought at the moment.. done better than i thought it would.. but the economic data is total BS.. buttering up the picture for election cycle... we are at a point of the AUD high and PoG consolidating (not necessarily the low.. but it could be) .. a reversal of those two.. will put us back in the money on the hedge closing at 2624 pretty quick

the USA might be on the wrong foot to Russia in terms of the gold standard.. but it isnt the first time theyve gone to war to prevent that.. Lybia Iraq.. and yes the ante is much bigger now.. but anything could happen at any time to create a risk off environment.. and if not high energy costs will surely damage the economy and industrial metals and the AUD
