The market discounts the price by about 20% - this is just a general rule of thumb - its not technical - see MSC just completed consolidation last thursday. RCP will need favourable announcements between now and the 11th of March to support the sp.
Each company is different however msc and rcp have similiar management issues. Anyway the comparison is there for us to watch in real time over the next few weeks.
