The thrust of my post wasn't about shuttering MCR ops while they built a concentrator. it was focussed on continuing with the current offtake and potentially "concurrently" builing MCR's own processing capacity to come online when the offtake ends in late-2025. Trucking to Nova is still too far away for third party tolling.
The presence of As was not a surprise for me, nor was it a 'secret' (I never said it was). What was a surprise (to everyone) was MCR's inability to blend the various ROM ores to ensure the offtake specs were met, meaning there were no off-spec rejections by BHP. They failed at that and the As ratio was the culprit. That was the point I was making. Wyloo was unaware of the issue. They said so in yesterday's announcement.
