IMO thats where some investors get it wrong- we need to look at EPS growth and PE rations rather than how many shares on issue - more important is the asset value and potential future growth forecasts and profit margins

for the record sometimes consolidation works in companies favor as it attracts a higher caliber of investors such as fund managers and institutional investors, etc...
good luck- its a buy for me at these levels
