westcott i think its quite irrelevant talking about costs of transport to port.
Firstly trucks are more than 20t capacity, more like 45-50t
the cost of personal and diesal usage would be one rate.. because it would be a lot of trucks involved for cartage, than the rate would be reduced.. my guess is that the transport industrys given they are compeditive would enter a tenfering process or bid.
3480 x $70 = 245K
trucks required would be 70 odd to transport that over a distance of 660K is total of 46,000km. fuel prices @ 90c equivalant AUD thats 41K.
personal say it takes a whole day @100 per truck driver wage.
thats 7K
In total lets say 60K it costs.
245K - 60k = 185K
the cost per tonne is $27 at mine site
so 3480 x 27 = 94K
lets say they are left with 90K profit for every 3480T
200,000 / 3480 * 94K = 5.4M
i think that nsl new about this transport cost and that is why they said that it would cost half of the value or IO when it was $60.
aint debating on costs when we dont know... all i do know is that nsl are very close to being established as a io miner and producer @ a market cap of 40M which in todays standard is regarded as cheap given IO as a hot commodity, and with nsl looking to bolt on projects makes it even sweeter.
good luck.
