ERG is a great example of a struggling company consolidating, impacting investor returns. I agree with stockanalysts. It is imperative that the companymakes announcements as it is in a positive/profitable/marketable and growing company that consolidation opens the doors for the investors!!! Bear in mind as wel, the Americans (safenet)will want the holdings to reduce, as it decides to takeover Senetas with the investment community behind its holdings and not in the hands of the spec'ies....
If profitable announcements are made (me thinks its ready to be read out soon - hint hint) then the consolidation is perfectly timed!!!!
I understand that consolidations typically dont work but something tells me that this one is not purposesly focussed for Australian investors.. interesting hey!
