Goarmy is mostly right.Not only his point but the side effect is that such companies end up with thousands of shareholders , some know whats happening in the company but many dont, and at any one time there are many sellers, ( who are often sohisticated investors from the last placement bailing out with a 20 or 30% gain). To get the sp moving when it should is like turning an aircraft carrier around. Very slow, very cumbersome.
On the positive side, a move in sp from 2.5 cents to 4 or 5 cents is a hefty return and is totally possible over 6 to 12 months.
