When talking about consolidation dont forget the huge daily volume of shares traded when positive drilling results were being announced at RGW1. In my view part of the buying frenzy was caused by mum and dad investors having a punt on a low value share with perceived promise. We have removed a large number of these players with the compulsory Purchase plan. I am not saying we shouldn't have reduced the share register, but all of the above coupled with the price of oil, and the way oil and gas explorers have been recently savaged are reasons to delay any consolidation until a series of major positive anns are forthcoming.
