Everything Old is new again---

It is very unusual for a company or individual to come up with a Scam/Grift/Con -- that has not been played or used before.

While there are many Scams and rip-offs --investigators will try and track common elements between scams.

A common Element --may be Industry-- may be management-- may be Lobby Groups/Activists --may be Auditors --may be lawyers...most scams have been played before and include some of the same common elements and people.

When Investigations start looking, some jurisdictions even have powers to check into the "Annonymous " and "Alias " of Posters that are aiding and abetting in the scam or scheme that is used to con people out of their money.
