What stocks have been consolidated in the last 5 years
When it happened
What was the consolidation ratio
The SP immediately before the consolidation
The SP 10 days after the consolidation became effective ?
Any anecdotal comments relevant to the above would also be welcomed.
My own limited experience would indicate that a "good" stock achieves 50-80% of the expected post consolidation SP and a "bad" stock is lucky to get to 20-50% with some reverting to the pre-consolidation SP over 6 months or so. None that I have come across, or held, have bettered the equivalent pre-consolidation SP but I would assume that there are some that have done so.
Question is prompted by the fact that I currently hold two stocks about to consolidate (CTR and EGO) and another (NWE) that I think will have to do so in the near future.
