consolidation, for an established business (cash flow wise) is one sign of no further need to raise equity?
happens to a fair few companies .... look at TOX for an example - bubbled along at 13c 'ish prior to consolidation (they did and 8 for 1). Once consolidated, and from memory, the sp hit the equivalent 15c mark almost immediately.
moral of the story - a lack of liquidity (or constraining of same), if the story is sound and the earnings are there will provide you with greater chance of appreciation when the ann's keep flowing in a positive manner .... ie. less stock on offer, less traders playing, more chance of overshoot as longer term investors try to get set.
Watch out for the tree shakes either side of the consolidation however. You will also have some initial weakness as the small holders get out.
I am all for them, for an established business of course.
