I'm pretty sure I'll get shot down in flames by the punters on here and their imaginary friend "Mr Market" but because it is Friday and I'm bored I would like get a little creative and speculate a little bit.

Assume that an entity wanted to own IGR and had some experience of the Pala debacle. They would know that the board are not big fans of relinquishing control of this company.

If one were to also assume that there is some collusion between large financial entities....I know that is ridiculous and unheard of...then maybe that large entity could get together a number of allegedly independant financial institutions with the understanding that they all accumulate until a certain number of shares are held.

The large entity would then launch a hostile takeover knowing that they had a large number of shares in the bag by way of their secret agreements.

That's my theory and I haven't even been drinking :-)
