I have no issue with orderly migration. Yes, we need skilled workers.

Shortages of a skilled workforce leads to inflationary pressures, slower growth and rising interest rates.

So, it's not "migration" that is the issue.

My issue is with a Government whose policy encourages people to seek to enter this Country illegally at great personal risk.

We have just witnessed the tragic consequences of poor policy.
