A lot people love conspiracy theories - they get that feeling that they've uncovered the 'truth' that no-one else knows , except of course all the others spreading their nonsense on the web eg vaccines & Bill Gates/Soros plans to control the masses, WEF, QANON etc
It can become addictive and often results in paranoia
