guess we just ignore the fact that many of those in the early days before it mutated are dead (cant investigate the dead) - just because covid did not affect australia badly - and i cant believe im saying this but the government did an awesome job of cancelling flights from china so we didnt have it here - just because you dont know anybody that died does not mean it didnt happen - and not just the elderly - in other countries many died or almost died, cozy australia with the massive ocean border that allowed us to dodge a bullet keeps all you nutter conspiracy theorists happy in the knowledge you know best just cause nobody you know died - sorry rant over it is supposed to be the humour thread
