Maybee some of the big brokers eg Macquarie and friends are trying to push the stock up to help sell telstra.The govt has problems selling the stock at these levels but if goes up they get to help sell it! and will collect 100s mills in fees.Easy money for these guys! This is just a thought, make up your own mind.
