Looking at the bent crane picture, if the handrail on the staircase at Karara is 1000mm high, then I calculate the weight of that item at 66 tonnes. So the suggested 84 tonnes isn’t out of the question, the lift certainly wasn’t 20 tonnes. The boom cylinders are extended which should increase the lifting capacity because the overhang would have been calculated at 80 tonnes/10.5 metres horizontally.
