We signed a non binding letter of intent a while back with Consulmet .
After the National Park vote on condition 13 ( 24/6 Processing Plant ) which takes place on the 26th of this month at 10:30 am we shouldn't have to wait to long to see some new figures either way.
The current quoted no's relating to condition 13 are:
Treatment Plant
Consulmet Plant £ 5,815,000
Plant Building £ 1,658,000
Other £ 450,000
Contingency £ 973,000
Plant Total £ 8,897,000
The amendment to condition 13
Richard Grey CEO , 19/10/2014
"would enable a significant decrease in the 'name plate' plant hourly throughput rate, whilst maintaining previously considered annual production rates, with attendant possible capital reductions for the processing plant and associated infrastructure."
----
With the possibilities of a smaller plant being purchased and a smaller plant building being required with associated reduced earthworks for the screening of the smaller plant building we should save a significant amount from the quoted figures.
Our already low operating costs of £360 per oz are based on the less efficient stop start processing plant ( 07:00 - 23;00 ) . With a new Resource estimate and the results of the technical review and the more efficient 24/6 processing plant ( if passed ) I would expect even lower costs .

Production Ready Concept
Our Production Ready Concept
Consulmet has invested heavily in its design and engineering capabilities to develop a range of Production Ready mineral processing plants. Production Ready means that our modular plants are pre-configured and fully tested in our factory, prior to being transported to site. The result is no surprises during construction or operation.
The advantages of our Production Ready range over traditional installations include:
Standard designs that maximise engineering efficiency and produce high integrity solutions
Reduced capital costs by 20 to 30%
Accelerated time–to–production and revenue generation
Reduced name-plate achievement issues by up to 80%
Reduced site construction and commissioning times
Optimised plant footprints through mobile, modular and skid mounted technologies
Reduced environmental impacts and site rehabilitation requirements
The simplified development of complex designs
Simplified multi–vendor management and resource coordination
Turnkey plant design, supply and construction
The meeting of high-tonnage throughputs by simply supplying multiple units
The provision for plant expansion – this can occur in a series of stages through the installation of additional units
Rapid and simple relocation and recommissioning
Residual resale value
All of the above is beneficial with the last two especially appealing ; if we do have other similar Cononish style deposits in close proximity to Cononish as the SGZ management believe then the start up costs will be extremely low and as we already have a blue print for planning for future developments the time frame should be relatively quick and if nothing else is found ( lol ) we have a residual resale value.
