Where do you find fundfamentally undervalued companies to invest in during times like these. Look for companies with quality management, low market caps and number of shares on issue and quality projects underway
That is where HOR fits in for me personally, and I rate it as one of my top potential returns for the year ahead, all going well
I'm not the only person who has been disappointed with the current shareprice, considering the excellent potential in HOR right now, with Horseshoe Lights and Kumarina projects in full swing and excellent results to date
Couple this with a tiny market cap, very very low number of shares on issue and a professional management team; it has all the ingredients of a fantastic investment
Quick view:
9.5m Market Cap (roughly, undilluted)
48m shares on issue
Show me another company with similar MC, SP stats, high grade cu hits and two exciting projects with a future drilling campaign in place to extend the good results to date
Fast track to today, where coming off a recent high of 35c, "prior" to recent results and we see the SP at 20c incredibly, and the options floundering
So I took the libery of touching base with the company this morning, and whilst I won't go into any more detail, suffice to say I was suitably impressed with the quick response and professionalism, and here's a quick summary
"I touched base with the company this morning, who were quick to reply and equally disappointed with the current SP. They feel this Friday’s AGM approving the Investmet placement should be a watershed moment that will bring further interest to the story, and are looking forward to bringing further positive results to the market ahead"
It's often more about general feeling one gets rather than information, and I feel there's positivity in the outlook but that's just imho
Also remember that options expiry is June 30th this year. Every company wants to bank the money from the options so if I was running any company, I would be planning on working the options into the money before that time, oviously![]()
Investmet was an early stage investor in Northern Star Resources (ASX: NST) at a few cents and it hit over $1.00 so they would have done their homework and I hope to see them push the company forward once the placement has gone through and they have a "vested" interest in the business
I believe once the markets come good we will see quality stocks rebound quite quickly, and I would expect HOR to be one of them, if not sooner, and look forward to seeing what comes of the Friday AGM
To be sitting at 20c is ridiculous, and under 30c almost equally so, so let's see how we go from here, but I'd hope for a quick and solid foot up shortly, which is what we've seen in the past with HOR due to the lack of shares on issue, and the small amount of volume required to push it up and down
