Hi Guys,
I made contact with the acting CEO of RSN today.
Obviously there was not much he could tell me outside of the public announcement arena. He assured me that they had the best interests of the shareholders in hand and that RSN's business plan is for the long term. So I don't think that this is going to take off anytime soon. I was strongly anticipating that RSN would start producing gold this year. In saying that, he did explain that all the associated applications and paperwork is in order for mining to be approved by the appropriate governing bodies. I expressed my concern about the ongoing draw on capital and the lack of funds to continue. He stated that RSN was still hurting from the collapse of the Tom's Gully Mine which still owes them $25 Million. As for NewZealand, I can only speculate that it is easier to fast track a mining license over there. Either way I believe that private funding will continue to support RSN's current projects and drilling programs throughout the year (thanks SB)and perhaps a sale of the coal assets as i keep mentioning. My confidence has been restored, but I'm not going to be a millionaire this year!
