At the end of the day, no mis-quoting should happen at all.
The announcement from the companies should cover ANY and ALL information that is needed to be released to the market for all to make informed decisions.
Perhaps a release by gdn saying "all gdn directors are in Australia at the moment and a announcement will be released concerning xxx by x time and date" would be helpful. However if the directors are in a meeting at the moment and the news is really bad OR really good there should be a trading Halt. So at this stage one would presume that a plan for the way forward may being hatched. IMO DYOR
