I cant wait to find out more about this legal action, as it has me baffled. How can Sumitomo take AVQ to court? I understand them taking the government to court for its perceived back flip, but that surely hasnt involved AVQ and even it it did, its the governments responsibility. I guess i liken it to purchasing property, sumitomo had made their offer and been accepted then avq made a better offer and the owner has decided to go with the better offer. Thats not avq's fault!!!! And in the solomons, the owners have a constitutional veto vote, meaning they can do what they want. This whole thing reaks of desperation on Sumitomos part, i think they are just trying to sue who they can in the hope that one of their suits stick in an attempt to save face. But who knows.... 18th august cant comequick enough, if its not thrown out before then.
