Hi, all, IMO! Maybe all is not lost after all! There is no doubt that the Hiltaba granite in the Weenanna Area is a substantially tin enriched granite (Based on TRF's samples from the extensive drilling to date) . What is required now is to determine whether the granite intrusions could have supplied the overlaying rocks (particularly those that exhibit significant structural changes) with a sufficiently enriched supply of tin rich fluids to have formed a viable primary tin deposit, and if so where is it . The area is associated with carbonate rich sequences which are considered an ideal host for primary tin deposits. Conditions are therefore extremely favourable IMO. Maybe an extensive exploration of the scale required will prove beyond TRF's capability but IMO they should put all their resources on to it. Unfortunately they can no longer rely on funds from the DSO iron, which looks unlikely to be mined. Therefore we still have problems but maybe there is a light ,albeit a dim one,at the end of the tunnel? BOLTA!
