AGL has long been on our list of likley suitors along with Santos. Given AGL's NSW focus and their acquisition of Sydney, Gloucester and Hunter csg tenaments its not hard to see them conmtemplating LNG. Recent roadshows have highlighted that they have gas reserves excess to domestic need and have talked about a 3 train LNG plant. ESG's gas could happily fit into this scenario. there's no doubt in my mind that AGL would have been one of the groups that Casey says have approached him .. and we know AGL is after more PJ in NSW .. given what they have said about existing reserves this can only be for their export ambitions!.
