Whisky...agree that exploration for the sake of cheap rig prices isnt necessarily good for FAR right now but a lot of new drilling could be classified as appraisal..?

As they correlate the cores to the seismic and increase the field size effectively merging SNE into Sirius and Soliel with the buried hills above...it now appears to becoming one massive contiguous field...

Also a point that hasnt been discussed here is that the eastern side of SNE butts into the old seismic line which means that it was unknown...if I am correct with this it would mean that the latest seismic included covering this area as well as the northern parts of the blocks....SNE could grow EAST!

As others have mentioned here.;.....we could be able to drill many double bangers around this ever growing monster........if this first buried hill comes in with oil then it appears as the field blooms that other buried hills will also be overlaid...

What a dream come true that would be for reduced development costs...

The way SNE is growing we could all be excused for thinking that this could very easily turn out to be a 150,000 to 200,000 barrels a day development.....now there is a good name for the next thread...

    150,000 to 200,000 bopd
