Call it what you want, but even if you were in <1c from the beginning I'd hardly call this a win.

Everyone keeps harping on about deceit but I fail to see where it was. They announced their intentions with results. Even if they had begun to 'suspect' poor results, what should they do? Announce it? There was no outcome for this project that didn't involve the SP tanking.

IMO they played ok with what turned out to be a shitty hand. And walked away from the table at the right time.
