While I have been a long time bear on this stock it beats me why a US$15 to US$20 rise in the gold price hasnt seen even a small jump in the SBM share price.
Surely Meeka will pump out more cash with the small rise in Aust gold price.
And surely Paulsens economics must improve with each jump in price? As no hedging currently exists for this project, then it would appear a higher base can now be locked in place.
What is going to cause SBM price to rise? is there a terminal illness happening here? It doesnt seem to make sense. It makes you ask: has the market missed something, or is the market giving you the sign to stay away? (Usually the latter is the case).
I dont hold.
