VCR did a UCG project deal with Cougar Energy (CXY) last Sept/Oct. This report produced by VCR simply coincides with this and also GASTAR's (Gastar Exploration) existing CBM projects directly with GEOSTAR. (VCR is a subsidiary of GEOSTAR)
Bit confusing all the agreements in place but GEOSTAR have a HEAP of brown coal and they need to find the appropriate technologies to best leverage this vast reserve. With ESI technology now commercially proven as opposed to the 2006 stage, IMO its likely the two parties have had discussions again.
